Please join us for the first in a series of wardrobe consultation discussions with Susan Michaliga. Our first discussion will focus on how to simplify your wardrobe and redefine your style. She will discuss key basics for every wardrobe and how to add current trends that will work for every woman. Susan will also be giving advice on how to dress for upcoming holiday events and utilize examples from our coinciding trunk shows - Michelle Vale and Magaschoni. Every invited guest who attends will receive 25% off their purchases during this event. Come see holiday styles form Magaschoni. Bring that one piece in your wardrobe that you cannot seem to work with and ask Susan her advise. See the amazing bags from Michelle Vale including her her Entrechat Convertible Bag. The beauty of this piece is the interchangeable hardware. The bag can go from shoulder to cross body to clutch with just the repositioning of the strap and you have the selection of gold or silver rings or chains. This twist on dual function is her trademark and it’s the ultimate in versatility. To receive an invitation to this event along with the 25% off event discount on full price merchandise in the store, contact alicia@shophysteria.com.
Our guest stylist, Susan Michaliga is former resident of Alexandria. She was raised here and one of her first jobs in the clothing industry was as a buyer for the Belle Haven Tennis Pro Shop. She has been working in the fashion industry for the last 12 years and has recently started her own wardrobe consulting business based on her experiences working with top designers and retailers. Her career began in Public Relations with the corporate Saks Fifth Avenue office in New York City. After Saks she worked with Michael Kors at Celine where she gained invaluable experience styling celebrities, working with major magazine editors, and travelling to Paris for the fashion shows. Working with such an amazing designer helped her hone her skills in understanding fabrics, fit, and how to make your wardrobe work for you. After leaving NYC, Susan worked at Neiman Marcus in Washington, DC managing and buying the Jil Sander collection. She currently lives in the Fredericksburg area raising her 3 young children and travels to NYC to consult with several designers on their up and coming brands. Her desire is to bring her knowledge of the fashion industry to stylish women and teach them how to work with their current wardrobe and choose clothing and accessories that will allow them to take their style to the next level. The idea is to learn to add amazing pieces that can be worn many different ways while always looking fresh, modern and stylish.
